What's changed
🚀 New Features
Kyro: AI assistant (General availability)
Kyro is now available to all orgs. Access it from the "Ask Kyro" card on the org overview or the corner launcher, available as a popup, side panel, or full screen. Kyro supports private and shareable chats, resource context, and a What's new walkthrough. Admins can manage it from AI settings.
Kyro: Plan & Build modes (Beta)
Kyro can now plan infrastructure changes and carry them out, asking for approval before any destructive action. Admins can enable it from AI settings.
Organization Settings redesigned
Organization settings pages have been redesigned, with old links forwarding to the new ones automatically. Includes redesigned runner groups (drain, activate, and deregister per runner), access tables sized to the screen with pinned row actions, and clearer delete dialogs.
Connectors redesigned
Cloud Providers and Version Control Providers now have their own dedicated pages. Lists keep search, filters, and sort state in the URL, include numbered pagination, and offer a "Check status" action for VCS connectors. Deleting a VCS provider also checks for templates that use it.
Vaults redesigned
The secrets vault has its own page with bulk delete, a "Copy reference" action, and a confirmation prompt before discarding a half-filled form.
Workflow Groups table redesigned
New design-system table and modals, including the Move flow, sized to the screen with pinned row actions. The Create menu no longer includes wizard and JSON options.
One-command MCP setup
Run npx @stackguardian/mcp-wizard from AI settings or the API keys page to set up the StackGuardian MCP server in one command.
AI client connections
A new OAuth consent page lets AI clients connect to StackGuardian. Users can view and revoke connected clients from their account. Admins can manage this for the entire org via a new role permission.
SGCode: Inventory and backend permissions
SGCode now respects the new inventory, project, and state backend permissions, with a read-only workbench view for users without write access.
🔥 Enhancements
- Sidebar and header: The new sidebar and header are now available for every org behind
sidebar-v3. Workflow, Stack, and Template pages use the new page header with a width cap. - Connected apps: Connected apps now sit under AI settings › MCP, and the consent page follows the new design.
- Tables: Rows no longer display with striped styling by default.
🐛 Bug fixes
/orchestratorroute: Now redirects to the org list instead of a blank page.- Collapsed sidebar: Click and cursor fixes applied. What's new now stays open when the sidebar is collapsed.
- Sidebar active state: The sidebar keeps a Workflow highlighted when navigating to its sub-pages, such as a run.
More improvements and new capabilities are on the way, and your feedback continues to shape what we build next. Thank you for being part of the StackGuardian journey. We're looking forward to what's ahead.
